The Manufacturing of Carbon Fibre Sheets:

Our top quality products are manufactured using the technology of epoxy resin infusion which insures no defects related to bubbles in the sheet layer. They are made with 100% carbon fiber using top quality 3k Hexcel fibers. Our technology ensures stiffness improved by approximately 30% compared to manually produced carbon fibre sheets, we produce a mirror-like perfect gloss of top layer. We also manufacture custom carbon fiber panels fit to your specs, including custom diameter, custom thickness (0.05 mm / 0,0019 inch precision) and CNC carbon fiber sheets machining.

Custom made carbon fiber sheets :

We manufacture and supply carbon fiber sheets including cutting of carbon fiber sheets. All required operations are delivered with a high precision 4-axis CNC milling machine that offers a working field of 2x3m (78x118 inches). We also provide milling services at your desired thickness (e.g. slots for counter-sunk screws) and threading of finished details.

FAQ – regarding carbon fiber sheets       

1. What is the maximum size of carbon fiber sheets? Do you supply big size carbon fiber sheets? Is export delivery of big size carbon possible?
   
   

   We supply big size / large carbon fiber sheets sized 120x370 cm, and upon request we also supply carbon fiber sheets sized 150x370cm. Carbon fiber sheets sized 50x100 cm or 100x100 cm are shipped by Courier Service (DPD/TNT) but big size carbon fiber sheets are shipped by freight forwarding, which in practice is economical for large quantities only – contact us -> info@dexcraft.com for more details.

2. What kind of finish is available for carbon fiber sheets? Are carbon fiber sheets with matt finish available?
   
   

   At this moment only carbon fiber sheets with gloss finish are available. We can supply a matt finish for larger wholesale orders.

3. Do you provide services related to carbon fiber sheet cutting with a CNC milling machine?

4. I came across Chinese carbon fiber sheets on the Internet that are cheaper, so why choose your products?
   
   

   Many clients have placed orders with our company due to negative experiences with Chinese suppliers of carbon fiber sheets. Many clients complained about inconsistent quality of deliveries, unsatisfactory appearance of delivered sheets, scratches, poor gloss and poor performance during cutting. The choice is yours.

5. Do you supply carbon fiber sheets of thickness customized to individual needs? And what accuracy can your company guarantee?
   
   

   Our standard carbon fiber sheets are manufactured with accuracy up to ~ + 0.2mm, which means that a sheet 1.5mm thick may have thickness within the range of 1.5-1.7mm. 6. Do you supply unidirectional carbon fiber sheets or biaxial and triaxial carbon fiber sheets?
   
   

   We supply carbon fiber sheets with 2/2 (twill) or 1/1 (plain) weave but upon request we also supply unidirectional carbon fiber (UD) or biaxial and triaxial carbon fiber sheets. To find out more please contact us at info@dexcraft.com.

7. Are carbon fiber sheets of quasi-isotropic type available?
   
   

   We supply carbon fiber sheets with layers oriented at 0/90 degrees, but upon request we also supply carbon fiber sheets with layers oriented at 0/90/-45/+45 degrees namely quasi-isotropic carbon fiber sheets.

8. What is the thermal resistance of carbon fiber sheets?
   
   

   Carbon fiber sheets offer thermal resistance up to 70^oC. Upon request we also supply carbon fiber sheets with thermal resistance up to 150^oC.

9. How can I cut carbon fiber sheets in my workshop?
   
   

   The carbon fiber plates we make are easy to process. They do not flatten when milling on a CNC machine, and the edges are sharp and nice. The carbon plates we make can also be easily machined with household tools such as an angle grinder, drill, file, sandpaper, etc.

10. Can carbon fiber sheets be painted?
    
    

    Actually any further treatment depends on the intended use. All supplied carbon fiber sheets (and ones made from epoxy resin) offer resistance to UV. However in the case of long duration or repeated exposure to sunshine (UV radiation) it is recommended to apply a layer of clear top coat (e.g. Polyurethane and Acrylic based) on the outer side of the carbon fiber sheet to ensure total protection against UV radiation.
